Our Farm Stay in Jamieson

On the 31st October we headed for Benalla to spend the night with Mandy, Col and Meiya. We arrived and the girls straight away hit it off and played really well together. Mandy put on a lovely meal of calamari which was cooked to perfection. Saturday morning we headed of for Jamieson at the base of Mt Buller. Jen had arranged accommodation at a farm stay there. We enjoyed the festivities in Mansfield first as we passed through as they had their annual show on that weekend. The girls enjoyed watching the parade go through the streets and Ruby waved to all the kids in the floats. We then got on our way to Jamieson and found were we were staying. It was a beautiful location and the views were fantastic. The weather stayed very kind to us all weekend and the girls had a great time playing together and getting to know each other that bit better. On the Sunday we headed went to the Mansfield Zoo and spent half the day wandering around looking at Lions, Monkeys, Deer, Camels etc. We enjoyed a picnic lunch together which was nice. Unfortunately 2 of the families couldn't make it. We had a great weekend, good food, great company and fantastic scenery. A special thanks once again to Jen for her great organising skills in putting together another enjoyable weekend.
