Happy 2nd Birthday Ruby

October 27th, 2007 saw Ruby turn a very big two. Ruby had a very big party at our house with lots of her family and friends. A great day was had by all and a special thanks to everyone for all the beautiful presents she received. Ruby had all her friends from our Adoption Education Group, Playgroup friends, cousins, grandparents and all our dearest friends. Seeing Ruby on the day just gave me goosebumps to see what a beautiful little girl she was turning out to be. She has become a very happy child and is so affectionate with her Mummy and Daddy. I think we have truly built a bond between the three of us that will never be broken. Mummy was so proud of her first birthday cake, although I woke up on the morning after decorating it to find little gauges out of the front edge of it. At first I thought Ruby but only to find out that Emma had been up earlier and had had a little play with it. Nana did a good patch job and everything was alright.
