My 1st Real Christmas

Christmas was here which meant that Ruby had been with us now for a whole year, it was so hard to believe. Ruby had a very frightening visit to see Santa and there was nothing I could do to console her she just saw him and decided that he was not very nice and definitely way too scary. I got the photo anyway which I thought she would get a laugh out of when she grows up (perhaps one for the 21st birthday party). We had a lovely day at Nana and Pop's with all of our family and Dick's parents. Just watching Ruby get so excited about all the presents was so nice to see. The way she was now interacting with her cousins and family was fantastic and just watching her through the day brought tears to my eyes.
